Donkervoort si-a prezentat ultima creatie: D8 GTO

 Desi mai sunt cateva zile pana la Craciun, producatorul olandez Donkervoort s-a hotarat sa le faca o surpriza pasionatilor auto de scoala veche. De ce de scoala veche? Ei bine, Donkervoort este unul dintre ultimii producatori auto care nu-si echipeaza creatiile cu ESP, ABS sau servodirectie.
Noua vedeta a olandezilor, D8 GTO, ascunde sub capota un motor TFSI de 2.5 L imprumutat de la prietenii germani de la Audi, acelasi propulsor care aduce la viata si TT RS. Totusi, gratie unor discrete modificari, D8 GTO beneficiaza de un motor cu 30 de kilograme mai usor decat fratele vitreg TT.

 Datorita masei totale de doar 700 de kilograme, cei 340 CP si 450 Nm transforma D8 GTO in cel mai rapid model din curtea olandezilor. Mai mult de atat, norocosii proprietari vor avea la dispozitie un butonas care, odata apasat, il va transforma pe D8 GTO intr-o bestie capabila sa dezvolte 400 CP.
Dintre primele 25 de unitati ce vor vedea lumina zilei incepand cu anul viitor, jumatate deja si-au gasit stapan, desi pretul variaza intre 100.000 si 150.000 de euro.

háát, én igen jól beszélek külföldiül,Ãgy nincs olyan vágyam, hogy vmelyiket fordÃtsák le. Viszont ha kÃvánni lehet, akkor a hosszú kÃtg¡Ãnsávlisámról most Gizzi Erskine "cook yourself thin" c. könyvét szeretném megkapni. Remélem még Ãgy is érvényes a játék. Köszönöm:Mrs Moore

A 'GTO' it is not. But I like it.My recently cptelomed Lotus Seven 'Type', sports racer, powered by an 'LS' Drive train with similar HP(400+) and 'P/W', does roughly 2.8', 0-60MPH. Top speed 'unknown' at this time, but it is scary fast and has been radar-ed at PIR on the front straight at 174 MPH, with plenty of power still available, but no room. It also only cost me around $16,000 in material/parts to build, plus 516 hours of time. So, at $55.00 and hour, times 516 hours, I come up with $28,380 plus $16,000, equals/= $44,380. A bargain compared to USD $130,700 - $196,00 for the Donkervoort. And the fact that I designed and built it myself with my son giving assist when time allowed, is priceless! I have already had an unsolicited, firm offer of $45,000 for it, so potentially, I could earn $620.00 in profit, plus a fair wage..not going to happen. GTO ... Gran Turismo Omologato/GTO, is a homologated car for racing in the Gran Turismo style. In modern/postwar times, generally a 2+2 coupe. Think GT-R, XK-R, G-37, 911 type, etc. and the classic Ferrari 330 GT 2+2.
